Today would have been Mom's 98th birthday.

But at 95 she decided it was time to go.

I miss her every single day but am thankful that she brought me into this world. Life was not always easy for her but she gave everything to everyone. She was tough, did not 'mince her words' but she was never happier than with her family and friends, and the children. I will not post a memory on social media leaving this message here for those who visit my website and wish to remember and honour her. 

Having not posted and thus 'reminded' everyone, I was disappointed that many people - including some of my family members - couldn't be bothered to send me a message of support and in remembrance of her. This is very sad but a sign of our times.
